Christmas Ornament Hat Pattern
With Christmas just around the corner, there is still some time for last minute stocking stuffers or festive wear. This ornament beanie is incredibly easy to stitch up (approx. 1 hour for the base and 20 minutes for the bobble).
– even wear one as an accessory to the ugly sweater party –
It’s not too late to whip up one of these quick and easy Crochet Christmas Ornament Hats! A simple project for beginners and a great last minute gift idea. This pattern that makes a nice set (I am thinking matching family photos, twins or multiples, and perfect for siblings). Crochet them in any color and feel free to add some embellishments! How about sparkles, sequins, or surface crochet a design? Lots of possibilities! This was inspired by my Dreidel Hat and pretty much uses the exact same pattern. I love how crochet allows me to turn one design into something else with just a couple tweaks!
– Worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Scarlet red, Fern green, and Silver Gray.
– Size H or I (5.5MM) crochet hook. I recommend an H hook but I couldn’t find mine so I ended up using an I hook for the ones pictured.
– Tapestry needle
– Poly Fill Fiber stuffing
