[Free Pattern and Video Tutorial] Suzette Crochet Stitch Plus Bag Pattern

How to Crochet the Suzette Stitch Plus a Free Bag Pattern

This is a lovely stitch that is entirely new to my eyes! I gave it a go last night and am so happy I did! It’s absolutely beautiful and the perfect “pretty” tight stitch for items such as bags, neckwarmers, washcloths or anything else that needs to be a little stiff. I might even use this for the next fairy house for my 3 year old!

It does look nicer in the light to medium colors so you can see the detail. It’s quite easy and works up pretty fast so I would put this in the beginner category.

Check out the Tote Bag Pattern here.

Here’s the stitch tutorial:

This stitch is worked on a foundation chain in multiples of 2. (This means you’ll end up with an odd number of stitches to work with because one chain will be lost to turning.)

Make and Do Crew even did a video which is fantastic to follow along! (It was their first video so virtual high-five to them!)
