The thermal stitch is the thickest stitch in crochet and now that autumn is around the corner, it’s time to get the hooks out and learn this essential stitch. It’s perfect for those thicker winter items to give as gifts or keep for yourself. The thermal stitch makes the best neck warmers and warm sweaters!

And of course, the stitch also looks great. Some crocheters who never have used this stitch before might want to be careful when it comes to counting the rows. As this stitch is made in a zigzag, all you need to do is count the visible rows on each side and add them up. That is all there is to it. Simple
